The outer shield contains (i) three five-pointed stars, one at each corner; (ii) the words THE SUMMIT PROJECT read horizontally at the top; (iii) the words HONORING FALLEN read top-to-bottom along the left side; and (iv) the words HEROES OF MAINE read bottom-to-top along the right side. The inner shield contains (i) a banner at the top with the stylized inscription DIRIGO; and (ii) a mountain in the middle superimposed with a five-pointed star and wreath at the bottom. Underlying the two shields at the bottom is a banner with the inscription SEMPER MEMENTO.;Color is not claimed as a feature of the mark.;
