Second, the mark always has a metallic edge or border, which flares and flashes with extreme brightness in the sunlight, and therefore attracts the viewer's eye to the mark and gives the mark its distinctive look and a psychological association with the military by associative concepts such as military dress-swords and hardware such as tanks, armor, ammunition, and the like.
