The mark consists of a circular medallion patterned so as to appear to be made of yellow parchment, with a black outline defining the outer perimeter. Within the medallion, a border is formed by a second black outline, dividing the medallion into an inner circle surrounded by an outer ring. Inside the outer ring appear the stylized literal elements FIRST AMENDMENT APPAREL in black, with FIRST AMENTMENT at the top of the outer ring, and APPAREL at the bottom of the outer ring. In the center of the inner circle appear the stylized literal elements 1A in black. Upon the parchment background, in brown stylized font, appears a representation of the Bill of Rights, with the literal elements being BILL OF RIGHTS CONGRESS OF THE UNITED STATES, FIRST AMENDMENT CONGRESS SHALL MAKE NO LAW RESPECTING AN ABLISHMENT OF RELIGION, OR PROHIBITING THE FREE CISE THEREOF; OR ABRIDGING THE FREEDOM OF SPEECH HE PRESS, OR THE RIGHT OF THE PEOPLE PEACEABLY LE AND TO PETITION THE GOVERNMENT FOR A REDRESS IEVANCES. Some wording is cut off on the edges of the medallion.
