CDBIS CERTIFIED DEAFBLIND INTERVENOR SPECIALIST

Providing assistance to deaf blind individuals in daily living activities by trained professionals; Intervener services in the nature of providing deaf blind information services in the form of non-distorted information such that deaf blind individuals are better able to interact with their environment where such services are administered by trained agencies and professionals;The mark consists of the literal element CDBIS in capital letters in medium blue inside a circle formed by arrows. CERTIFIED VISION REHABILITATION THERAPIST

Teaching blind and visually impaired persons independent living skills in order for them to live safely and independently;The certification mark, as used or intended to be used by persons authorized by the certifier, certifies or is intended to certify that the goods/services provided have attained a specific level of education, training, and experience in the field of teaching blind and visually impaired persons independent living skills in order to live safely and independently.;CERTIFIED;

CLVT

Functional vision assessment and vision habilitation/rehabilitation services, namely assessment of the use of vision and the visual environments of persons with impaired vision, and instructing the use of visual perceptual and visual motor skills and the use of low vision optical, non-optical and electronic devices to persons with impaired vision to assist them in regaining independent function for activities of daily living and instrumental activities of daily living, and instructing such persons to use environmental cues and environmental modifications that enhance the use of vision;The certification mark, as used by persons approved by the certifier, certifies the individual displaying the mark has met the certifier's requirements for functional vision assessment and vision habilitation/rehabilitation of persons with impaired vision, and that as such, each of such persons (1) has met the specific standards of personnel preparation in education and experience established by the certifier, (2) has passed a standardized national examination prepared and reviewed by the certifier, and (3) has been approved by the certifier's Board of Directors.;
