A two-way wireless personal video/audio communication system comprises a video mode switch for selecting a desired one of X, N, and R modes, and a video signal control circuit for transferring a video signal from a camera circuit to a display circuit in the N mode, a video signal from a remote terminal to the display circuit in the R mode and the video signal from the camera circuit to the display circuit and a video transmission/reception circuit in the X mode. The display circuit applies an output video signal from the video signal control circuit to a display to reproduce an image picked up by a camera.
