A camera includes an image sensing unit that generates unprocessed image data, an image processing unit that processes the unprocessed image data, an embedding unit that embeds first additional information in the processed image data using a digital watermarking technique, an attaching unit and a recording unit. The attaching unit attaches the first and second additional information to the unprocessed image data.
