  1. A vehicle tonneau cover design that adjustably accommodates changes in the size of the tarp of the tonneau cover due to weather or the like and provides stable attachment of the tarp to the vehicle. The tonneau cover includes a tarp, a frame coupled to the vehicle, and a latch assembly made up of a latch bar attached to the free end of a cover and a pair of latch mechanisms used to lock the latch bar to the frame at an attachment point. The latch mechanisms are releasable and adjustable to change the longitudinal position of the attachment point relative to the frame.
