A power transmission incorporates a plurality of torque-transmitting mechanisms having stationary piston torque-transmitting mechanisms. Each of the torque-transmitting mechanisms is controlled by one or more hydraulic master cylinders, which provide hydrostatic apply pressure for the respective torque-transmitting mechanisms.
