In a cutting blade assembly for an electric foil shaver, a first cutting blade of the assembly has a generally planar first face, a generally planar second face opposite the first face, and a peripheral cutting edge. The first cutting blade has at least one bump disposed on its first face. A second cutting blade of the assembly has a generally planar first face, a generally planar second face opposite the first face, and a peripheral cutting edge.
