Technical Examples
- A lockout mechanism allows for controlled use of exercise equipment. Use is allowed on a time-controlled basis. A predetermined period of time is allocated based on an amount of money paid. This second embodiment employs a spring loaded latch mechanism to prohibit use. A third category includes those types of exercise equipment which require electricity to operate. This third embodiment employs a timer circuit to interrupt power to prohibit use.
