Technical Examples

Photographic prints are produced from a virtual negative image on photographic paper. An image formation device coupled with a source of virtual negative images and a displacement actuator coupled with the image formation device are provided. The image formation device is positioned in a first position. A group of pixels on the image formation device that correspond to a portion of the virtual negative image is illuminated. The photographic paper is exposed to the group of pixels by directing a light beam from a lamp along an optical path. Relative motion is provided between the image formation device and an exposure target.
