  1. An improved asphalt patching machine which is mountable to a motor vehicle having a supply of asphalt patch material thereon. The patching machine comprises a dispensing and finishing assembly fed by a multi-part, articulatable conveyor which feeds asphalt patching material to the dispensing and finishing assembly, which is movable in substantially the plane of the roadway, to position the dispensing and finishing assembly over the effected area to be patched. The machine first deposits patching material in the effected area and, thereafter, from the dispensing and finishing assembly, integrates the patch into the existing surrounding roadway.
